The upcoming IMMAP Expo in November is something all dwellers of the internet are really looking forward to attend – specifically all the internet marketers in the country.
The IMMAP, which stands for the Internet Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines, is celebrating their sixth summit this year and expecting some of best-known names in the Philippines to join in.
As already mentioned, this particular organization is concerned with the internet and mobile marketing in the Philippines. Right now, the country is an incredibly active nation; digitally speaking with Pinoy’s holding millions of accounts in Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites. With a staggering 40% of the population accessible through mobile phones and about 9% through the internet, it isn’t surprising that IMMAP is slowly advancing to cover this specific populace. Top it off with the prediction that even MORE will surface in the following years and you’ve got yourself a VERY good reason to be part of IMMAP’s first expo.
Where and When?
The Expo is set for November 13 to 14 at the Rockwell Tent. The two-day event will be a gathering of different people such as digital agencies, suppliers, publishers and developers. Since this is their first Expo, not much information is forthcoming yet, but we still have a month to go so that shouldn’t worry you too much.
What to Expect?
If you’re interested in finding out more about IMMAP and their upcoming Expo, I suggest that you head on out to their website for more information. This is actually their first but the organization has held several summits already that included some of the biggest names in the industry today. In fact, one of the speakers was none other than the Chairman of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company and Smart Communications, Manuel V. Pangilinan. The summit tackled a wide array of topics when it comes to internet and mobile marketing starting from the possibilities of the digital age to branding through the internet. The summit even welcomes the presence of Assistant Department of Tourism Secretary Domingo Ramon C. Enerio who talked about the government’s “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” campaign.
Why Do I Need This?
If you’ve been in internet marketing long enough, then you’d KNOW that IMMAP is the premier source of information today when it comes to marketing online and through mobile phones. A quick visit to their site should provide you with good tips on how to improve your products and services to get more clients for your online business.
Unfortunately, most of the important information has probably been given during the 6th Summit, which happened around August. This November, you’ll be expecting something else very different from the Expo. Basically, it’s going to be a feast of suppliers that will need to farm out their expertise in digital development. If you happen to have a venture that needs a little polishing in the marketing department, this is the place to go. If you’re the expert in the digital stuff though, you might want to reserve a slot for exhibition. You can visit their main website and send an inquiry email anytime.
