[Event] Social Media on Elections: June 19, 2013


The Social Media on Elections boot camp is definitely the event to attend for online business owners, internet marketers and brand developers in the Philippines. This boot camp will be focusing on the Philippines elections for 2013 and what lessons can be gleaned from the activity relating to brand management. The Social Media on Elections features a fully-packed schedule for anyone who wants to attend the event. The session promises to introduce participants on the critical components that lead to social media marketing success. In here, the speaker will highlight how to find your social media identity and making sure that your voice is heard by various listeners. A case analysis featuring the campaign of elected Senator Bam Aquino will also be presented to gloss over the internet marketing campaign.

Other topics to be discussed include managing your online presence combined with examples from the team of Senator Kiko Pangilinan. Other examples this time featuring product and service companies will be provided so that participants will get the full benefit of the session.

By the end of the event, participants are expected to have in-depth knowledge about social media marketing and how to use it effectively. They should also have some information about marketing analytics and what tools should be used in order to get the most out of their campaigns.


Who’s going to be there?

The event will open its doors to two of the most respected individuals in the industry today:

  • Niña Terol-Zialcita – a Strategic Political and Corporate Communicator, she once headed the communications teams of senators Benigno “Bam” Aquino and Francis Pangilinan. A finalist for “The Advocate” of Tatt Award, Niña is a well known speaker for various topics including social change, social media and leadership. A graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University followed by the European Journalism Institute in Prague, Niña also has a book published under her name along with various articles in magazines and websites including Rappler. She was also a winner of the 2010 Philippine Blog Awards, a co-founder of Writer’s Block Philippines and more – all of these making here an excellent choice as speaker for the Social Media on Elections.
  • Rosario Juan – another speaker would be the Social Media Director from Movent formerly known as NetBooster Asia. She is the digital strategist for numerous medium enterprises, more recently as the Lead for the Google Business Group of Makati. A renowned individual in her chosen field, Rosario Juan will be sharing some of her hard-earned knowledge to participants.


When will it be?

The event is set for this coming June 19 which is a Wednesday. The program will run from 1:30 PM and conclude around 7 PM with AIM Makati as the venue.

Early Bird solo participants can get in for PHP4900 plus VAT while the regular rate is PHP5900 plus VAT. Individuals bringing in a friend only needs to pay PHP3900 per person.
